About Phone Key

The Elvee Phone Key uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) to communicate directly with your Tesla. It allows you to lock, unlock, and start your car without pulling the phone out of your pocket.

Setup Instructions

1. Open the Elvee app and ensure Bluetooth is enabled.
2. Sit in the driver seat with your Tesla keycard handy.
3. Tap Set Up Phone Key in the settings.
4. Place your physical keycard on the center console reader when prompted by the car screen.
5. Confirm the connection within the Elvee app.

Tips for Reliable Operation

• Keep Bluetooth enabled on your phone at all times.
• Prevent your operating system from putting the Elvee app to sleep (disable battery optimization for Elvee on Android).
• Ensure the app has "Always Allow" location access to trigger proximity detection.
